Send SMS (Mid-Call)
Your assistant can send an SMS to the caller or another number during the conversation. Ideal for confirmation links, addresses, or contact details that are hard to dictate over the phone.
Use cases
- Send a confirmation link for a booked appointment
- Send an address or directions as an SMS
- Share a download link for a document
- Send an employee's contact details
Setup

Activate the tool
Open your assistant → tab Tools → Activate Send SMS.

Configure the recipient
Choose the recipient type:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Dynamic | The number is detected from the call (caller's number) |
| Fixed | A fixed number that is always used |
| Prompt-based | The assistant decides based on the prompt |

Define the SMS text
Write the SMS text. Variables are supported:
Your appointment with Dr. Müller on {{appointment_date}} is confirmed.
Address: Musterstraße 1, 12345 Musterstadt4
Update the prompt
Describe in the prompt when the SMS should be sent:
After booking the appointment, send a confirmation SMS
with the date and address to the caller.Mid-call SMS messages are sent immediately during the conversation — the caller can confirm that the SMS arrived before the call ends.
⚠️
The SMS feature requires an active phone number with SMS permission. Not all number types support sending SMS.
