Send SMS (Post-Processing)
After a call, your assistant can automatically send an SMS — for example, an appointment confirmation to the caller or a notification to your team.

Creating an SMS action

Open post-processing
Open your assistant → tab Post-Processing.

Add an SMS action
Click Add action → Send SMS.

Configure the recipient
- Caller's number — Automatically the caller's number
- Fixed number — e.g., +49 170 1234567
- From variable — e.g.,
{{phone}}

Compose the SMS text
Write the SMS text and insert variables:
Hi {{name}}, thanks for your call to [Company].
Your appointment on {{appointment_date}} is confirmed.5
Define conditions (optional)
As with email: natural-language conditions, evaluated by the AI.

Sender name
You can configure an alphanumeric sender name (e.g., "DrMueller" instead of a phone number). Note:
- Max. 11 characters
- Letters and numbers only
- Recipients cannot reply directly
SMS messages are sent through our telephony partner. Country-specific SMS regulations apply.
